Noodles as a value product?
yes, if

If you are a restaurant owner, you need to think what particular value do customers get from visiting your establishment, and what do they seek.

Is it simply to fulfill the basic necessity of satisfying one’s hunger?

Is it to enjoy the atmosphere of the place?

Is it to find a location to rest (hence, the very word restaurant).

Is it to have a venue to gather with friends and family?

Is it a place to enjoy service?

Is it somewhere they can experience and explore food they would neither be able to cook themselves nor to realistically have it available for immediate purchase either physically or online?

Of course, it is everything in varying degrees, and if you happen to be a noodle specialty shop or a place that simply has noodles on the menu, you may be faced with a fundamental question of whether it is possible to make noodles you serve into a feature product – something that would have a value in itself.

The only way you can do it is by offering noodles which are unique and of such high quality your customers would unlikely be able to find a similar product elsewhere or to replicate it themselves.

On May 17, 2024, join Yamato for a free online workshop where you can learn how you can easily produce high quality craft Udon noodles in substantial quantities.
