Ayup Kurban, Armita Quinones and Tushita Roy are staff members stationed at the Yamato Europe office in Amsterdam, Netherlands. They have much knowledge and experience in authentic Japanese Ramen, Udon and Soba noodles, noodle and Gyoza cuisines, as well as a stellar track record in supporting Yamato customers across the European continent.
Our staff members are proficient in English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Arabic , Portuguese , Hindi and Chinese!

Although, developments in technology have greatly enhanced human ability to communicate remotely, nothing can beat being as close to each other as possible giving you an opportunity for direct engagement and interaction.

With this in mind, Yamato has established its physical presence on the European continent by opening an office in Amsterdam where people can come to see what we have to offer, and where our dedicated and committed multilingual staff (including for technical support!) is always there to help with any issues related to noodle machines or other equipment in our lineup.

The office also gives us a unique opportunity to educate our existing and potential customers on issues of noodle making, recipes, ingredient suppliers, etc.

Since the start of 2023 we have begun offering monthly in-person events for anyone who is interested in professional noodle making, as well as related peripheral equipment such as AUTOMATIC EGG PEELING MACHINE or STOCK STRAINERS

These events and workshops allow us to share our noodle making expertise, technologies and labor saving equipment in Europe where the costs have been rising, and skilled labor is getting harder to come by.

On August 21 and 22, 2023 we offer a series of special classes to help you level-up your noodle making skills in just 3 hours: we are going to demonstrate how to make different varieties of Ramen noodles for various types of Ramen dishes, Udon noodles, Gyoza skins/wrappings, as well as a revolutionary egg peeling machine that is the only one in the world that can peel both hard and SOFT boiled eggs.  

During the classes you will be able to learn everything about theory and practice of craft noodle customization in general, and production of noodles using the best noodle making equipment from Japan in particular: ingredient types, ingredient proportions and combination, dough making / resting / aging, noodle size, storage, shelf life, culinary application, etc.

4 SESSIONS IN TWO DAYS (August 21-22, 2023)

1. Class on Ramen noodles (Aug. 21st, 2023 ): Morning 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM 

  • Explanation of recipes and ingredients (hard copy materials will be provided) 
  • Making a batch of Ramen noodles from scratch using the “RICHMEN 1” and “RICHMEN GOLD” commercial noodle machines
  • Cooking and tasting freshly made Ramen noodles 
  • Q&A session 
  • Also featured: “GoldenEgg” – a revolutionary table-top automatic machine for peeling hard and soft-boiled eggs 

2. Class on Udon noodles (Aug. 21st, 2023 ): Afternoon 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM 

  • Explanation of recipes and ingredients (hard copy materials will be provided) 
  • Making a batch of Udon noodles from scratch using the “SHINUCHI” commercial noodle machine 
  • Cooking and tasting freshly made Udon noodles 
  • Q&A session
  • Also featured: “GoldenEgg” – a revolutionary table-top automatic machine for peeling hard and soft-boiled eggs 

3. Class on Gyoza dumpling skin making (Aug. 22nd, 2023 ): Morning 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM 

  • Explanation of recipes and ingredients (hard copy materials will be provided) 
  • Making Gyoza skins using “RICHMEN 1” / “RICHMEN GOLD” machines 
  • Cooking and tasting freshly made Gyoza dumplings (mozzarella cheese and vegs fillings)
  • Q&A session

4. Class on Udon noodles (Aug. 22nd, 2023 ): Afternoon 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
