Offering bowls of ramen for breakfast

Would you like a bowl of ramen for breakfast? Well.., no matter how die-hard-ramen-fan you are, you may hesitate to say yes. Ramen has a strong image of lunch or dinner food. But that’s what a lot of Japanese have been eating for their breakfasts especially over the recent months. Because the government put limits on how late restaurants can operate, it has been difficult for ramen shops to make money from their dinner business. One solution they’ve found is the breakfast business. Though ramen seems unlikely to be a good candidate for breakfast on anyone’s minds, many ramen shops are selling a lot of bowls in their breakfast business. Are they offering different ramen from their dinner businesses? How are they doing things differently from their lunch and dinner businesses? We are not sure if the breakfast ramen works in your region, but depending on what kind of ramen you can create for your breakfast offering, it may work.
So, let’s start thinking about what ramen you can offer in your breakfast business and how you can do that on Jan. 21st, Friday during this FREE online class with us.
