Online Noodle Class on how to make Italian pasta on a Ramen machine
Based in Japan and having a majority of its staff hailing from Japanese origin inherently bounds Yamato to its native background. On the other hand, this does not prevent us from being perceptive to other cultures, markets and ideas. Yamato’s multinational and multilingual team, its extensive (by the industry’s standards) network of overseas branches, as well as its long history of broad and successful global outreach, and – above all – its deep passion and strong commitment to noodles and noodle business allow us to effectively address needs of our customers well beyond the conventional boundaries of traditional Japanese or Asian food traditions.
This includes pasta. Although, depending on you look at it, this may appear somewhat presumptuous, but having devoted more than 4 decades to designing and building professional equipment for production of various types of noodles, we are positively confident that we are on strong grounds to address the topic of pasta too.
This is because Yamato Roller-type noodle machines, although positioned and marketed mainly as machines for “Ramen” (both for extremely dry and hard types of ramen noodles – like those used for “Hakata” style dishes, and those types of ramen noodles that are chewy and high in water content – such as those used for “Tsukemen” dipping noodles), can perfectly handle the task of producing various types of pasta noodles too.
On the other hand, some noodle machines designed solely for production of pasta, are – by limitations of their design and structure – unable to make ramen noodles.
As “every man to his trade“, so ‘every tool to its craft‘ — but in this respect a single unit of ramen machine will give you a much broader range of opportunities and options in terms of varieties and types of noodles you would be able to make.
So, join us on July 2, 2020 to learn about pasta making using Yamato ramen machines.
