Online noodle class on customizable menu for Mazemen noodles
Similar to people’s satisfaction with the form of their government – which is greatly improved when as stake-holders they can make their personal decisions on its nature (usually through elections) – when it comes to buying things, being able not only to freely choose but to customize the product can serve as a great booster for customers’ eagerness to buy the product, their satisfaction with the purchase, and willingness to purchase again.
Speaking of food businesses with noodles, especially Asian-style noodles, one might first think of a noodle shop where noodles are served with soup, which can take a lot of time and effort to cook.
However, this model may not always be feasible either in terms of the business’s location or target customers.
Think Mazemen. Speaking generally, Mazemen is a type of noodle dish where noodles, toppings (vegetables, meats, etc.) are put into a bowl (or a container for takeaways or delivery) where they are mixed together with a sauce before eating (hence, the very name consisting of two parts: “maze” – mix, “men” – noodles).
In addition to being less labor intensive (as there is no need for soup stock) such design offers a great number of opportunities for creating various dishes by using different noodles, sauces and garnishes.
While sauces can be made using established or newly created recipes, and toppings bought and cooked as suitable, procuring the very kind of noodles one may want to use in their recipes might not always be possible, either for lack of suppliers or excessive price.
This problem is solved by becoming able to produce fresh noodles in-house — and commercial noodle making equipment from Yamato makes this possible.
Although it is entirely possible to imagine Mazemen dishes using other types of noodles, originally Mazemen has evolved from ramen cuisine, and usually uses ramen noodles.
“Richmen” series noodle machines – a de-facto world standard for small/mid- scale commercial ramen making equipment – are capable of producing all varieties of ramen noodles, gluten free noodles (from rice flour and starch), pasta noodles, as well as certain types of udon (depending on hydration) and soba noodles (depending on the ratio of buckwheat flour in the dough).
A Mazemen noodle food business empowered by capacity to easily produce necessary noodle products – in required quantities and of appropriate quality – can offer its customers almost unlimited range of options to choose from – accommodating the most demanding tastes and niche preferences — a noodle business with customer satisfaction and loyalty achieved through high product quality, and the customers’ ability to create their own dishes from a large selection of available options.
In particular, we are talking here about an a-la-carte style model of offering customers the ability to build their own Mazemen bowls by choosing what noodles, sauces and toppings they want in their dishes.
On January 28, 2021, join Yamato for a free online class on Custom Mazemen menu: varieties of noodles for Mazemen, sauces, toppings, noodle cooking methods, and packaging ideas.
This topic is especially relevant in current circumstances (circa January 2021), because Mazemen soupless ramen is perfectly suited for takeouts and deliveries whose importance greatly increased since various restrictions and limitations have been imposed on food service businesses worldwide.
The class is Free, and its live broadcast is accessible by the link that will be sent to your email address after you sign up.
(NOTE: we are looking forward for, and would definitely welcome your watching the live broadcast, but should that be difficult, you would still be able to watch a recording of the class using the same link)
