An oasis of authentic Japanese Ramen noodles in the Chilean capital

"Richmen type 1 is the heart of my Ramen shop"...
…this is what Xuaxing Fong, an owner of “Ramen One” has to say about his noodle machine he purchased from Yamato in 2019 to open his ramen specialty shop in the Chilean capital Santiago.

Serving a variety of ramen dishes as well as other Asian cuisine offerings, “Ramen One” boasts authentic craft noodles made on a “Richmen” noodle machine.

“Ramen One” owner:
“When I first saw a video of a “Richmen” ramen machine on YouTube I was totally fascinated. It is small, elegant and works great. As I was planning to open my ramen shop, I contacted Yamato right away. The whole process from the first inquiry to getting the machine delivered was smooth and easy. But to be sure I would be able to make the best of the machine I was ordering, I actually visited their office to have a noodle making training course, which they offer their customers for free. There was an option of doing it remotely online, considering the distance from Chile to Japan, but I prefer to experience everything firsthand, so I decided to go there personally”

“Ramen One” owner:
“In hindsight that my experience proved useful, and now I am able to make a variety of noodles using my own recipes. Besides, compared to sourcing noodles from suppliers it is so much cheaper to make them yourself, and you, of course, are able to control product quality. Moreover, in addition to ramen noodles, using “Richmen” machine I can also make other varieties of noodles too (like pasta, etc.).”
